At Ride-On Southwest, we’re passionate about bikes and want
you to enjoy your ride. That’s why we only rent high-quality, Trek
branded adult and childrens bikes. We believe that by providing you
with these bikes, your experience of cycling in Devon will be more
enjoyable. In addition to having a high-quality fleet, our hire
bikes come with comfort saddles, ‘puncture-proofed’ tyres, and a
backpack containing a helmet, lights, lock and maps. For your safety
and peace of mind, all our bikes are fully checked and serviced
after each hire period. In short, Ride-On Southwest provides
highly-maintained, and superior quality bikes, direct to your door.

Adult Mountainbikes
– Our adult bikes are Trek 3700 / 3900
Mountainbikes. They come equipped with 24 speed Shimano gears,
Rapidfire shifters, suspension forks, comfy saddles, ‘puncture-proofed’
tyres and lightweight aluminium frames. Gents and Ladies versions
are available. All adult bikes will be custom-sized to your
requirements.

Trek Fuel 70
– These are serious bits of kit for the more adventurous, or for
those who appreciate high-end gear. A full-on lightweight, full
suspension, disc-brake equipped mountainbike with high-end
componentry. If you want to do some ‘proper Mountainbiking’,
then this is the bike for you. Our Trek Fuels come to you with
suspension custom tuned for your weight and riding style.

Trek 4300Disc
– Again, a lightweight, high-end, full-on mountainbike, for more
severe riding or for those who appreciate top quality. Features a
superlight aluminium frame, disc-brakes, RST suspension forks, and
high-end components.

Junior Mountainbike (ages 6-12)
– These are Trek MT220’s in
boys and girls frame versions. These are of the same quality as
Treks adult bikes and come complete with suspension forks, ‘twistgrip’
shifters, Shimano gears, junior-specific saddles, lightweight
aluminium frames and ‘puncture-proofed’ tyres.

(ages 5-10) – Trek MT60’s
in girls and boys versions. Again, the same quality as Treks adult
and junior bikes, with lightweight aluminium frames, suspension

saddles and ‘puncture-proofed’ tyres.

– Trek T900. This is a very
high quality tandem, and is a massive amount of fun. It features a
lightweight aluminium frame and high-end components, comfort saddles
and ‘puncture-proofed’ tyres. If you’ve never tried one
before, this beauty is the one to try.

Tag-A-Long
– For the less-confident junior riders. The Trek
Mountain Train clips onto the back of an adult bike and
allows a child to safely pedal along behind & comes fitted
(Suitable for ages 4 - 8)

Trailers
– A bit like a small tent on wheels - towed behind an adult bike,
our high-quality trailer is designed to carry 2 children (suitable
for ages 1-5). You could even tow your dog. Mine loves his.
 
Child Seats
– These are quality Hamax-branded, for comfort and safety. They
simply clip onto our adult bikes and are supplied fitted (suitable
for children up to 20kgs).
